Lively Chenin, floral Chardonnay, fine mousse.
The taste of spring.
Type of wine :
Fine French dry white sparkling wine, light and elegant. Its lively, light finish mainly come from the Chenin grape.
50% Chenin blanc, 10% Cabernet Franc 40% Chardonnay.
Substoil type :
A chalky subsoil, known locally as "tuffeau". The minerals in this soil play a vital role in creating wines with a fine sparkle. Another characteristic of this chalky layer is its ability to absorb the sun's warmth by day and diffuse it by night.
The grapes are hand-picked in boxes. The entire grape is pressed using the Crémant method. The best juice is selected during pressing. Mastery in the choice of yeast and the blending of the cuvée by the cellar master. The splendid mousse is formed during the secondary fermentation (traditional fermentation in the bottle). We also allow the wine to mature in our cellar for longer than the statutory provisions require.
Tasting notes :
Delicate yellow shimmering colour with a rich, fine mousse. A fine and elegant bouquet of fruity aromas to entice the senses. A smooth finish with a refreshing, creamy sparkle and characterised by the liveliness of the Chenin grape. Served at 6°C, this fresh Crémant de Loire is perfect as an aperitif with canapés and savoury snacks. A very refreshing, easy to drink wine.
