Refreshing Chenin, subtle Chardonnay, voluptuous Cabernet Franc:
A rich composition that makes a great impression.
Type of wine :
A fine French sparkling dry white wine. A very special cuvée with a long tradition that blends wines from 15 different growing areas.
15% Chenin Blanc, 25% Cabernet Franc, 60% Chardonnay.
Substoil :
A chalky subsoil, known locally as "tuffeau". The minerals in this soil play a vital role in creating wines with a fine sparkle. Another characteristic of this chalky layer is its ability to absorb the sun's warmth by day and diffuse it by night.
Vinification :
Careful selection of the best juices during extraction, mastery in the choice of yeast and the blending of the cuvée by the cellar master. The characteristic mousse is formed during the secondary fermentation (traditional fermentation in the bottle). We also allow the wine to mature in our cellar for longer than the statutory provisions require.
Tasting notes :
Pale gold in colour with a thick mousse and fine sparkle. The rich bouquet is elegant and distinguished. A delicately flavoured wine, mellow, with fruity notes and a creamy sparkle. Perfect as an aperitif, with fish in sauce, veal or pork, almond desserts, pears, apples and much more besides. Serve at 6°C. The unusual distinction of this Cuvée Flamme makes it a perfect wine for special occasions.
